• MOM: Tonia!!
• ME: "This woman again, by this time? i wonder why i came back to this house!! if not for that short man that mum employed at the gate, i should be at the club here i am sitting at home she won't even let me smoke anymore. I'm sure if Dad was here he'll let me go but that mother of yours...' i hate her so much'  she went  to her village to bring short foolish people, i have to go bro, Bye!".

• MOM: I  blame your father "you spoilt child".
• ME: Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeewww!!!!!

Mom raises her hand over the child for her bad attitude and rudeness.

Thus, if dad was abusive, controlling, and dominating, those will be the patterns that their sons will imitate and emulate. However, if a father is loving, kind, supportive, and protective, boys will want to be that.

Mothers are and considered to be more responsible . Being a women and mother their emotional attachment is far more then the fathers . I must admit it is a universally recognized factor . Mostly more responsible the the fathers . She can sacrifice any thing for her children . Time , money . energy . Emotions . Name it and she is the one ready to give it to her child . She can remain with out food and want to feed her child instead . Talking about those poor mothers who live hand to mouth . Must be rare if she eats with out saving for her child . No doubt she spoils her children but again

she is willing to give any thing which he demands .

Fathers being a man is seen reserved and selfish .

I tried to put in what is common in our societies . Though I had a super responsible father . He sacrificed every thing for his children .He loved us like any thing . He had no demands of his own . I won't deny my mother was not responsible but she had no match with my father . His concern and sense of responsibilities . I am answering according to what is asked .

Honestly this is a question that can only be answered from and individuals perspective of his/her parents behavior. In my case I’d say my mother is much more responsible. This is because my mother cares that I don’t use curse words, that I’d always oil my hair, that I pray everyday and many more but my father doesn’t concern himself with this upbringing.

Not necessarily. Parenting isn’t just about giving birth. Any dumb animal can give birth. It takes a lot more than biology to be a parent. Some women are horribly irresponsible as parents.

My husband was the stay-at-home parent for our son. His health was such that going out to work was possible, but not prudent. He shouldered the day-to-day responsibilities while I worked full time and went to school. I would say that most of the time, he was the more responsible parent. That isn’t to say I didn’t contribute. His load was simply greater than mine in that department.
